Mónica Serrano Angel is a partner of the firm and heads the Corporate and Compliance areas of BBGS Abogados, Colombia.

She advises on mergers and acquisitions processes of companies in the real sector, as well as matters related to the day-to-day corporate life of companies. She also leads the processes of risk identification, development of risk matrices and compliance policies of companies.

She has more than 15 years of experience in corporate matters and the purchase and sale of companies. She has supported companies such as Sony, HBO, Envases Universales, Axesat, among others, in processes of integration, purchase and sale of companies and businesses such as Blush Bar, Forus and Smith & Nephew in business reorganization processes.

Mónica is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a specialization in Commercial Law from the same University. She holds a Master's Degree in Ibero-American Compliance from Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. She is certified as a compliance officer for Business Ethics and SAGRILAFT.

She has been recognized as a lawyer specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions for almost 10 years by the most important rankings in legal matters.
